Most regular electric motors are not waterproof. We can make a special water resistant electric motor though upon request. It will add to the original price though because of the extra time and labor that goes into making these special motors. Since it adds to the price you only want to get it if you really need one for your application. For example, food applications, pumps, car washes or any other application that would be used around water.
